PAIA Manual Notice

Effective date: 2026-05-15 | Last reviewed: 2026-05-15

Which request applies to you?

Property and tenancy records (leases, applications, inspections, maintenance history in a Rentivo workspace) are held by your landlord, agency, or property manager. They are the responsible party under POPIA and the records holder for PAIA purposes. Use the PAIA-style intake form and enter your property manager's workspace email. Your request is delivered to their workspace for review. Rentivo account, billing, and support records held by Rentivo (Pty) Ltd are requested separately from the Rentivo Information Officer at privacy@rentivo.co.za.

Submitting an access request (property records)

Use the online PAIA-style intake form with sufficient detail to identify the records and your relationship to the property. Identity verification may be required before release. This form routes intake to the property manager's workspace — Rentivo does not decide access to customer estate files.

Rentivo platform records

For records Rentivo holds about your relationship with Rentivo (account, subscription, support, platform security logs), contact the Rentivo Information Officer. See the Rentivo platform PAIA Manual documentation for categories, fees, and timelines.

Information Officer and POPIA Requests

PAIA and POPIA-related requests about Rentivo platform records may be directed to the Information Officer contact details displayed on this page and in the Privacy and POPIA notices. Governing law is South Africa.
